Welcome to Mrs. Carlos's 4th Grade Class!

It's a pleasure to meet you!

E komo mai families and students! Welcome to E-201.  where mistakes are often made, hearts and minds are kind, work is always being done, being different is respected, creativity is encouraged, and progress is always...ALWAYS praised.

This is our class website. It is packed with a lot of information that will be used often in the classroom. It will help you know more about me, give you some insight of different types of activities we may do this year, help you keep track of school and homework assignments, and provide you with both student and parent resources.

Although the past three years have felt like being in a whirlpool of constant change, we'll definitely try to make this school year as normal as possible.

Meet Mrs. Carlos

Hey there, everyone! Just wanted to share a few things about myself.
I was born and raised here on Oahu, and grew up in Waipahu (Go Marauders!). I have 2 kids, Araiya and Darissen. This year, Araiya is a college freshman and Darissen is a 4th grader. We also have a dog named, Belle (yes, like in Beauty and the Beast) and a whole lotta fish, one of them is even named Ho‘okele.
As a kid, I enjoyed going to school. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher since the second grade. For the past 19 years, I've had the pleasure of working with children as an  A+ leader, a paraprofessional tutor, and a teacher.  I've taught 4th grade for the past 12 years and I'm grateful to be able to teach this grade once again. I am super excited to be working with all of you. Let's work together to make this year the very best.
